Trees
My ongoing project of photographing the trees around Orange, Alamance, and Durham counties has been active for more than a decade. I have made photographs here in all seasons, at all times of day, mostly within an area no more than 25 miles from my home. I find it easy to anthropromorphize a tree. But most often I wind up admiring the quiet, stoic grace they offer. One thing to reccomend them as a subject is they always grow in relation/reaction to one another and the immediate landscape giving them infinite variety.
